Media Language :  Media language refers to the way media texts convey meaning to the audience. It is the codes and conventions used by producers to create meaning in their work. These are interpreted but the audiences often subconsciously and help them understand what’s going on in the sequence. Shot Size : One of the most important elements of media language is shot sizes. Shot sizes determine how much of the subject we will be able to see in our screens. They are very effective in shaping narratives , emotion and engage the audience.  There are several types of shots :  1. Establishing Shot : The establishing shot shows a really wide view of the setting often used to establish a location. Although , it makes character seems relatively small and insignificant but used in the beginning of the scenes where the audience is typically hooked so it is really important. History of the Films

The film industry has developed over more than a century having some major changes in its production , stories and different elements.  The Late 80’s : The Introduction of Motion  In the late 80’s , movement was created using zoetrope , a spinning cylinder which gave an illusion of motion and along with that magic lanterns , an earlier version of modern day projectors which using a light source and a lens projected the images onto a wall or any surface. The films made at that time consisted of basic day to day life activities such as people going to work. It was filmmakers like Georges Melies who began using editing skills and special effects and created “ Trip To The Moon ” in 1902.
